Why we had to build Justr

As a team that's spent years working in and around construction innovation, we kept running into the same problem: brilliant machines that no one could find.


We were seeing special application machines everywhere. Rail-modified excavators. Custom snow diggers in Norway. High-reach booms in city demolitions. And yet, unless you already knew the name of the builder, you had almost no chance of discovering them.


That was the spark for Justr.


We realised the people building these machines aren’t marketers. Many don’t even have websites. Some run on email and word-of-mouth alone. But what they build is world-class.


At the same time, buyers were struggling. They needed machines that could do something specific, tunnel work... soft ground dredging... compact demolition or some other unique need, but they were wasting hours on Google or making dead-end phone calls.


There was no shared space where supply and demand for modified machines met. So we decided to build it
