If you're in construction, infrastructure or mining, chances are you've run into a job that your standard fleet just couldn’t handle. Whether it's working in a narrow tunnel or clearing heavy snow in mountainous terrain, the need for machines that can do more than the average excavator is very real.
Yet, when that need arises, where do people turn? Google? A few calls to equipment rental firms they already know? Most people discover the same problem: finding the right modified or specialised machine is incredibly difficult. The internet isn’t built to help you find what you really need. Most of these machines don’t even appear in search results. It’s frustrating. It's slow. And it often ends with compromise.
Construction projects are becoming more specialised. From urban tunnelling and complex infrastructure projects to demolition, forestry and work in challenging environments, standard machines can’t always get the job done.
That creates a growing need for machines that are adapted to specific jobs, environments and requirements.
Behind these machines are specialised providers, expert engineers and manufacturers who modify base machines or build entirely new solutions for very specific applications.
The problem is that many of these companies remain difficult to discover.
They are often highly specialised businesses with deep technical expertise, but limited digital presence. Some rely primarily on existing networks and word of mouth. Others simply don’t have the time or resources to market what they build.
So there is a gap between the people who need specialised solutions and the people who build them.
We built Justr to connect the two.
There was no shared space where supply and demand for modified machines met. So we decided to build it.
Justr is built on a simple belief:

We’re creating a global marketplace where buyers can describe what they need, discover relevant solutions, compare their options and connect directly with specialised providers.
You don’t always need to know the name of the machine you’re looking for. Sometimes you just know the job you need to solve. Justr is designed to help you from there.
Justr is a joint startup initiative between Humblebee and Volvo Construction Equipment.
Humblebee brings experience in digital product development, design and technology. Volvo Construction Equipment brings deep industry knowledge and a global understanding of construction equipment and the people who use it.
While Justr is built together with Volvo Construction Equipment, it is a marketplace for specialised equipment from all brands and providers.
Together, we’re building something neither side could build alone.

We believe it’s time for specialised equipment to be visible to buyers directly. Making it easier to discover the right solutions without needing to know the right person, have the right contacts or spend hours searching online.
