The PROTECTOR E4 from ECHLE is the next evolutionary step in modern cab guard. Developed for heavy-duty use in demolition, civil engineering, forestry, or recycling, it provides reliable protection against falling objects – without restricting visibility or impairing the machine's operational readiness.

✅ Certified protection according to ISO 10262 Category 2

The PROTECTOR E4 is a patented FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) protection structure, tested in accordance with ISO 10262 – Category 2. It therefore meets the highest safety requirements for cab guards in professional use. Proof of ISO certification is located directly on the FOPS, so no additional documentation needs to be carried.

✅ Easy to transport – installation height only 40 mm

Many cab guards make the excavator too high for transport due to their installation height – but not the PROTECTOR E4. With its extremely low installation height of only 40 mm, the overall height of the machine hardly changes. This means easy transport without special permits or modifications.

✅ Demolition guard can be swung down to the front – without climbing onto the roof

Unlike conventional FOPS systems that slide up, with the PROTECTOR E4 you no longer have to climb onto the excavator roof to secure the front grille.

Our innovative Easy-Lift function with integrated gas pressure springs allows the front grille to be conveniently swung down to the front – easily from the ground or directly from the cab. This allows you to switch between full protection and a clear view in a flash.
